The importance of the environment is not something that the everyday student would think about, but when it comes to the Water Cons club here at La Costa Canyon High School, it is more important than it seems.

The Water Cons club is run by president Mesean Sadri, and the club meets every Wednesday in Ryan Guista’s classroom.

The club mainly focuses on different ways to conserve water and ways to remain eco-friendly towards the environment.

“It is honestly such a feel good club,” freshmen Taylor Evans said. “It really focuses on doing good for the environment and conserving water.”

The club works on different ways to approach the conservation of water in society and how to spread around these new ideas. The idea of the club is to make people more aware with the way society wastes water, and what we can do to conserve it more.

There are currently eleven members of the Water Cons club.

“People should join Water Cons because it’s a great-feeling environment that focuses on saving water and becoming friendlier with the world around us. I don’t think people realize how much water they use, and how much of that water could be saved,” Sadri said.
