Envision Cinema Conservatory at Canyon Crest Academy is hosting a film competition at their school called the “SDUHSD MiniCine Fest.” In this film competition, groups of up to 4 SDUHSD students (including district middle school students) have 48 hours to write, shoot, and edit a short film on the weekend of February 10th-12th. All groups will be given a prompt with specific requirements that may consist of certain lines, props, and the like on that Friday afternoon at 3pm.

To participate in the 2017 Mini Cine Festival, each group only has to pay $30 to enter which is a cost of $7.50 per student in a team of four. In addition to this, each group member gets free entry to the festival ($5 ticket price) hosted on February 24th at 7 P.M. The money raised benefits CCA-TV and Envision Cinema at CCA.
Students can access the entry forms available on EnvisionCinema.com. The forms and entry fee are due Feb. 7th in room G201 at CCA no later than 5:15pm.The festival will be held Feb. 24 at 7pm.
