As the first semester ends, LCC is hosting a dodgeball tournament. This tournament is happening during lunch throughout the week of January 9- 13. There were originally 32 teams, but match by match and at the end of each day there was only one team remaining from their respective bracket. However, there are four brackets all leading up to Friday when the winners of the four brackets will square off to see who becomes the overall winner of the tournament.

On Monday, the first day of the tournament, the final game of the day was a good one where the eventual winner of the match #5T2 was faced with a not too favoring of a scenario. It ended with a 1 to 2 score. A player from #5T2 got out one of the opposing players, and just moments later she caught the opponents throw which gave them the win.

On Tuesday, day two of the dodgeball tournament, it once again came down to a 1v1 as the odds were stacked against Mormon Mafia, but as a player threw the ball at an opponent not too fast which the opponent ends up dropping, therefore giving Mormon Mafia the win.

On Wednesday, the third day of the tournament it wasn’t as intense as the previous day in large part to Untouchaballs blowing out the competition which earns them a spot in the final four”.

On Thursday, was another day where a team dominated the competition and there was no doubt that they would land them a spot in the final four, Choom Squad.

On Friday, the last day of the dodgeball tournament the final four squared off to see who would win the championship. The first matchup was between #5T2 and Mormon Mafia, #5T2 came out swinging and dominated Mormon Mafia, they had a late comeback attempt, however, they came up short. The other matchup was the Untouchaballs and Choom Squad.
